The Candy Pink version was easily the most tried on and photographed one though from memory at Lords. I’ve done quite a few pink ones over the years since this one.

We pioneered the fact that helmets can be coated/painted rather than cloth covered or a plain plastic colour. We showcased this with hydrostatic dipping the shells which we featured on our stand at the Lords Trade show back in 2010. With the ability to add finishes like this wooden grain effort or other graphics on top of a base coat it helped to have club crests and sponsors logos added as a vinyl sticker too rather than embroidered to reduce MOQ’s and turnaround times. ![]()

Other brands now seem to have caught up a decade on as colour matching pantones to teams kit is much easier from a huge variety of paint colours compared to cloth or plastic swatches. #LeadingTheWay

I have used this in the hybrid sweatbands, helmet liners and it will also be in the new product line being worked on by the ACA due to just how damn good it is…if you’ve not heard of it before, look it up. ![]()

It’s an amazing material that hardens upon impact before “relaxing” again to return to its normal state! Unlike other open cell foams used in 99% of other products on the cricket market it’s doesn’t get crushed and stay crushed after the force has departed. #D3O #DareToDiffer #DesignWithPurpose
